Overview

Welcome to BVS+ Editing, a 12-month program - provided by Business Video School LLC - that is designed to provide professional video editing services tailored to your needs. By enrolling in this program, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Editing Credits

Validity Period: Editing credits purchased as part of BVS+ Editing are valid only for the 12-month period following your enrollment. Any unused credits will expire at the end of this period and cannot be refunded or rolled over.

Credit Redemption Options: Editing credits can be redeemed in the following ways:

1 Credit: Editing of a Video Recipe based on the program's outlined standards. You will choose and record one of the pre-made video scripts in our Video Recipe catalog. These videos are considered "short-form videos" and follow the editing standards specified later in this document.
2 Credits: Editing of a custom short-form video (under 2 minutes long), subject to the following restrictions: a maximum of 10 minutes of footage, up to 20 total media files, and adherence to labeling and submission guidelines. Detailed restrictions are outlined later in this document.
6 Credits: Editing of a custom long-form video (under 10 minutes long), designed to provide in-depth, high-quality content. This option accommodates more extensive footage and creative elements, including up to 20 royalty-free B-roll clips, making it ideal for detailed videos. Restrictions are outlined later in this document.

Guarantee: We guarantee that you will receive 52 professionally edited videos by the end of the program if you opt to create Video Recipes and/or allow us to generate AI "faceless" videos using your credits. This ensures you have a consistent output of high-quality content tailored to your needs. If you use your credits in other ways (e.g., for custom short-form videos, long-form videos, or other specialized editing projects), you will receive fewer professionally edited videos overall. However, we guarantee that all your credits will be fully utilized before the program ends.

If your credits remain unused for a consecutive 90-day period, we will contact you to discuss utilizing your credits by generating AI-powered "faceless" videos about your local area. After we contact you about this option, you may choose one of the following flexible solutions to make the most of your credits:

Generate AI Videos Now: Approve the immediate creation of "faceless" AI-powered videos, providing you with high-quality content promptly.
Defer Generation: Retain your credits for use later within the 12-month period, allowing you to explore other editing options or decide on video creation timelines that best suit your needs. Before the program's conclusion, we will ensure all credits are utilized, either through editing your provided content or generating AI videos.

Editing Expectations

To better understand our services, please review the following expectations:

Professional Quality and Standards: All videos will meet high standards of quality, reflecting your brand’s unique identity and objectives. Editing services will vary depending on the type of video (e.g., short-form vs. long-form).

Short-Form Video Editing Standards: For Video Recipes or custom short-form videos (under 2 minutes long), we will:

Clean up provided footage (e.g., remove mistakes, cut empty spaces, piece together clips).
Adjust footage coloring and audio as needed.
Use dynamic zoom effects to enhance visuals.
Add royalty-free music.Include captions in one language.
Incorporate 3-5 royalty-free image/video clips (B-roll).
Add your logo and branding elements (if provided).

Restrictions for Short-Form Videos:

You may submit a maximum of 10 minutes of footage for each short-form video project.
If submitting multiple media assets (e.g., B-roll, A-roll), you are limited to 20 total files, including images and video clips.
Label all media assets clearly and provide necessary notes in our system for projects with multiple assets.

Long-Form Video Editing Standards: For videos up to 10 minutes long, we will:

Clean up provided footage (e.g., remove mistakes, cut empty spaces, piece together clips).
Adjust footage coloring and audio as needed.
Use dynamic zoom effects to enhance visuals.
Add royalty-free music.
Include captions in one language (if desired).
Incorporate up to 20 royalty-free image/video clips (B-roll).
Add your logo and branding elements (if provided).

Restrictions for Long-Form Videos:

You may submit a maximum of 20 minutes of footage for each long-form video project.
If submitting multiple media assets (e.g., B-roll, A-roll), you are limited to 20 total files, including images and video clips.
Label all media assets clearly and provide necessary notes in our system for projects with multiple assets.

General Expectations

Customization: We accommodate specific editing preferences, such as branding elements, style guides, and requested revisions.

Timeliness: We will edit one video project at a time (per customer). You may submit footage for multiple projects simultaneously, but we will complete one project fully (including revisions) before starting the next. The initial version of your edited video will be returned within 7 business days of footage submission. Turnaround time for revisions depends on workload and the complexity of the requested changes.

Submission Requirements: All raw footage and instructions must comply with our submission guidelines. We will provide a private Google Drive folder for asset uploads and access to a system for submitting project notes, viewing progress updates from our editors, and accessing final video file links.

One Round of Revisions: You are entitled to one round of revisions per video project. After receiving the initial edit, you may provide a single set of adjustment requests. We will implement these changes as long as they fall within the outlined scope. A finalized video file will then be provided for download.

Communication: Clear and timely communication is essential for effective project completion. Delays in providing necessary assets or responses to editor queries may impact turnaround times.

As part of the 12-month BVS+ Editing program, you will also have access to the following resources to enhance your video creation experience:

Select Trainings: Gain access to specialized training sessions designed to improve your video creation and marketing skills. These sessions will be available throughout the duration of your program.
Video Recipes: Utilize our comprehensive catalog of over 230 video scripts and step-by-step instructions to create impactful and engaging videos.
Weekly Work Sessions: Participate in scheduled online meetings where you can work on recording your videos and receive guidance from our team (as needed).

These resources are exclusive to the program duration and will no longer be accessible after your 12-month enrollment ends.

AI-Generated Content

Faceless Videos: AI-generated videos will focus on your local area, incorporating data-driven insights to create engaging, high-quality content.

Approval Process: We will contact you to obtain consent before generating AI videos. If no response is received, we reserve the right to proceed with video generation before the program’s conclusion to ensure all credits are utilized.

Client Certification and Indemnification

By submitting materials for use in video projects (e.g., logos, B-roll footage, video footage, images, etc.), the client certifies that they hold all necessary legal rights, licenses, or permissions to use these materials. The client agrees to indemnify and hold Business Video School LLC harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, or legal actions arising from the use of materials provided by the client. This includes, but is not limited to, copyright infringement, trademark violations, or unauthorized use of third-party content.

Refund Policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with your BVS+ Editing membership. Our refund policy is as follows:

Full Refund: If no videos have been edited within the first 30 days of enrollment, you are eligible for a full refund upon request.
Partial Refund: If any videos have already been edited within the first 30 days, a partial refund may be granted based on the number of credits used. The refunded amount will be determined by deducting the value of the credits redeemed from the total purchase price.
No Refunds After 30 Days: After 30 days from the enrollment date, we do not offer refunds for any reason.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions as needed to improve our services or comply with legal obligations. Any updates will be communicated to members via email and reflected on our website.
